This week as part of Women's History Month, we introduce you to Audrey Wagner, who was an AAGPBL star.
Audrey Wagner was one of the original 60 members of the AAGPBL. A 2x All-Star she ranks 8th all time in HR's, 2nd all time in 3B's and was Player of the Year in 1948.
In 1948, Wagner hit .312 to win thee batting title and led all hitters with 130 hits. She also posted career-numbers in games played (117), runs (70), RBI (56), walks (56) and triples (14).
After baseball Wagner graduated medical school and became an Obstetrician and Gynecologist ini California.
