#Spotlight – This week we pay tribute to the players of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League. Much attention is paid to their playing careers, but little if anything is known about their post playing exploits.
First up is Jean Faut, who played under her Manager husband Karl Winsch, which became increasingly hard between her and her teammates, so she decided to give up Baseball and become a Secretary in South Bend, IN.
Faut and Winsch would divorce and Jean would remarry, and then relocate to South Carolina. While in South Carolina and seeking to replace the competitiveness of Baseball, Faut would become a professional bowler and a competitive golfer.
