#Spotlight – Next up is Toni Palermo who played for the Chicago Colleens and Springfield Sallies during her AAGPBL career.
Post playing, it may be easier to list what she didn’t do, first becoming a Nun and forever Sister Toni, then earning her Bachelor of Science degree in English, History and Math before earning three Master’s degrees and a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She would also go on to teach in the Physical Education Department and the School of Social Work at the University.
Sister Toni would also become a Mary Kay Cosmetics sales director, licensed electrologist and psychotherapist.
