The Kenosha Comets played from 1943-1951 at Kenosha's Lake Front Stadium and Simmons Field. The Comets were one of the first four teams in the AAGPBL. In 1943, they posted a 56–52 record. The following season they went 62-54, then followed with seasons of 41–69, 42–70, and 43–69.
Their best season came in 1950, when they finished with a 64–46 record.
The Comets featured notable players Helen Nicol, Audrey Wagner, Lois Florreich, Dorothy Schroeder and Fern Shollenberger.
