This week as part of Women's History Month, we introduce you to Rose Gacioch, who was a 3x AAGPBL All-Star and 4x AAGPBL Champion.
Rose Gacioch played for South Bend, Rockford and Grand Rapids. Making the biggest name for herself while playing for the Rockford Peaches, winning 3 championships and starring as a hitter and pitcher.
Her first season on the mound she went 14–5, and in 1951 posted a 20–7 record to become the league's only 20-game winner. She threw a no-hitter in 1953.
In over 3,000 at bats, Gacioch only struck out 162 times
