#Spotlight – Next is Bill Foster, known as the younger half-brother of Rube Foster, he was also considered one of the Negro Leagues greatest pitchers.
Foster would retire to become an insurance salesman for North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company. In 1960, he would return to baseball and become the Dean of Men and Baseball Coach at Alcorn State University (his alma mater), a position he would serve in from 1960 until his death in 1978.
